Combining the exceptional responsiveness and next generation power management capabilities of Transmeta’s Efficeon processor with Sharp’s high-density technology, the Actius MM20 provides users with a high-performance and energy efficient notebook computer that enhances battery life while offering substantial computing power in one of the thinnest and lightest ultraportable form factors available.

Available for order immediately, the Actius MM20 notebook weighs just two pounds and offers improvements in processing power, memory, battery life, hard drive size, and wireless networking speed. The new notebook, just 0.62 inches thick at its thinnest point, also includes improvements in graphics performance, keyboard layout, and includes a new ‘mobile mode switch’ that allows users to extend battery life when it is needed the most.

The Actius MM20 features a unique cradle that allows it to be connected and synched to another computer using minimal desk space. The notebook plugs into the cradle using a connection port located on the left side. A high-speed USB 2.0 connection links the cradle with the computer. The front of the cradle includes several indicators including the Battery Status Indicator, Hard Disk Indicator and a Status Indicator. A switch in front of the cradle enables Sharp’s DirectHD technology, allowing users to easily transfer files and seamlessly maintain data consistency between multiple computers.
