The MP3RUN is the first MP3 player that teams music with a virtual coach. It provides runners with a wireless speed and distance monitor that measures running speed, distance covered and elapsed time of the training with up to 99.6% accuracy. The Bluetooth enabled speed sensor attached to the shoe continuously collects this information which can be on demand accessed via the audible feedback. When finished running, the display not only shows a summary of the performance but the runner can get an on-demand audible summary on the pace, distance and time via the headphones.

The Digital Media Manager software can store the information on the PC, providing a complete progress tracking system for runners of all levels. With a memory of 256 MB The player has a built-in FM radio function with 10 presets, a playtime of twelve hours and includes a strobe light for low light conditions.
